Performs a variety of functions including but not limited to setting up process of performing In-Clearings, Returns and Transit Work. Perform reject repair and balancing. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. The position requires problem solving, the ability to meet tight deadlines, and exceptional customer service skills. Each operator may be assigned various tasks depending on business needs. Must be able to work as part of a team. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Operate sorter, scanner and other equipment. 2. Prepare In-Clearings and Returns for processing 3. Perform research and lookups on microfilm, on-line and through the processing system. 4. Empty trays, totes and prepare batch tickets. 5. Read checks and enter data such as amount, bank or account number. 6. Perform purge functions of system after proper verification of data. 7. Create and transmit image export files. 8. Perform daily spreadsheet functions. 9. Perform Image print and distribution. 10. Perform Image Center/Remote Capture process. 11. Perform daily transmissions to clients and Federal Reserve Bank. 12. One (1) year certificate from college or technical school; or three (3) to six (6) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routing reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. 3. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. 4. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
