Education and Experience: A four-year degree in business or equivalent and at least 2-3 months of high-level administrative support and/or other directly applicable experience required; a combination of education and experience to reach a similar standard will be considered. -Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with standard office procedures and practices, including entering standard data and using standard reports in databases. -Basic purchasing knowledge and experience, including creation of requisitions and placement of small purchase orders, payment of vendor invoices for goods and services after reconciliation and approval. -Basic accounting knowledge and experience, e.g., debits/credits, journal transfers, expenditure reconciliation. -Travel and event arrangement and organization experience. -Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications in a PC environment. -Ability to lift easily and maneuver individual files, file drawers, file boxes, etc., up to 25 lbs.; ability to bend comfortably to reach files in the back of bottom file drawers and bankers? boxes.
