This is the wonderful Canon WFT-E2A wireless file transmitter and contol unit or the Canon 1D and 1DS cameras. It allows you to connect USB drives to the camera, or a GPS unit via USB. It also allows for ethernet or wifi control of your camera and also file transfer so your assistant can be sorting and uploading images as you keep shooting!!! I have used it a few times, and it works GREAT! Allows you to have your camera on a tripod and then control it remotly from your Laptop so you can take candid wildlife shots, racing shots w/o putting your life in danger, or stay warm when shooting Northern Lights, and so much more! Its a MUST have if you have one of the Mark III bodies! These are hard to find and most places have to special order it for you for the $700-850 range. Now is the time to get one and save some $$.
