House has living room & den, gas fire place; high yield year-round vegetable garden, hardwood floors, soft water); 2 tv's (that no one EVER uses); I am building a music practice / rehearsal room, planned for the basement (most acoustic instruments welcome; Chris is bringing in his Piano for the living room & I've just acquired a vintage Hammond Organ). The atmosphere is educationally-supportive and considerate; the decor is progressing to be as Egyptian looking as possible (am wanting a look like the Lost-Library @ Alexandria / lost of torch lamps, etc.). Normally, we kick our shoes off in the mudroom & ware socks around the house, but not required. The butler does all laundry every 2 or 3 days, cleans floors / vacuums, & empties trash; you need not bother w/ any of that; he does not provide any kitchen services; other than, dumping the trash, cleaning floors, and providing caffeine (your only cleaning responsibility is to NEVER EVER LEAVE BEHIND DIRTY DISHES and TO KEEP THE KITCHEN VERY VERY CLEAN for the next person who needs to cook)! (I don't mind if you are a slob in your-own room; that's your business.) I love sharing my home with deserving, respectful students who are considerate, clean, AND TAKE THEIR EDUCATION SERIOUSLY (but you need not be a student)! If you are G; S; or Bi; that is not an issue, nor is race. I care not what you smoke; so long as you smoke it out-doors (basement is 420 friendly, but we smoke no tobacco indoors, at all; it just stinks too much). We maintain a studious, considerate, helpful, cooperative, and reasonably caffeinated atmosphere; this is NOT a "party-pad"!
