Hi! We have a room available in our 3 bedroom house! Available around July 1st! (That's when the current occupant is supposed to move out). The available room is the master bedroom, and it has its own bathroom, a walk in closet, and a normal closet. It is $400 a month, plus 1/3 of the utilities, and the house is managed by Bruni Karr Rental Agency. The house itself has wireless cable internet, but does not have cable TV (since you can watch TV for free online). We do have a TV, but the only things hooked up to it are a Wii and a DVD player. We also have a washer and dryer, a fenced in back yard (well behaved dogs welcome but the carpet has to be steam cleaned when you move out - rental agency's rules), and a garage for storage. The house is very close to Jubilation Liquor Store and Walgreen's, and is a short walk to UNM (about a 15-20 minute walk if you take your time, MUCH faster with a bike). It is also close to a grocery store and to all of the bars and stores on Central Ave. The area seems really safe, we have not had any issues, and our neighbors are great. The current occupants are one 22 y/o f. student (who also has a job) and one 23 y/o f. young professional. We are really laid back but really like the 'team' thing...as in everyone cleaning up after them self, and everyone pitching in to clean common areas like the living room, kitchen, and dining area, and helping with the trash and recycling. We don't have a set schedule for cleaning or anything crazy, we just kinda do it when we think it's getting messy. We also like the respect thing - no crazy house parties on a Tuesday night when everyone has class/work the next morning. But having a group of friends over whenever? Sure! We don't have any pets right now but are open to anything but cats because of allergies. We are looking for another student or young professional who is non smoking, respectful and easy to get along with. If you are interested send an email and we will send you some photos.
