I am a single but attached female. I have 2 cats, but they stay 90% of the time in North KC at my boyfriend's house, and so do I. I am looking for a roommate to take the entire finished basement (about 500 sq ft and it has a fireplace and windows!!!) Private bathroom upstairs, eat in kitchen, private garage parking (shared with me, but you have your own side :) washer/dryer and a private courtyard with furniture. Nice quiet street, complex has a pool, fitness room, and tennis courts. I am a professional photographer and I have a studio and a bedroom on the 3rd floor, with my office/proofing on the second floor. But the basement is huge and completely furnished, the guy moving out had a 7ft x 7ft couch, tv, coffee table, entertainment center, queen bed, nighstand and desk down there and it wasn't cluttered at all. There is also unfinished storage in a separate room off the basement and also the laundry room is down there, again in a separate room from the basement. The townhouse itself is 2000 sq ft, huge! And I am truly rarely here, usually just on the weekends and maybe 1 - 2 days a week, but that's it. Looking for a cool, quiet roomie, an Art student (photography would be awesome) would be a great fit, or a young professional. No smoking in the house at all, cats are okay, dog is negotiable.
