The situation: Our roommate is heading to greener pastures (in New York City, no less, a place with very few pastures...she's in for a big surprise!), and we are looking for someone to replace her, or at least live in the room she used to live in and pay the bills she used to pay. Us: We are two male, health-conscious, mid/late twentysomethings. We watch and discuss movies, enjoy cooking and love eating good food, listen to NPR and Democracy Now, talk politics, are fond of self-deprecating and sometimes juvenile humor, don't have a microwave in the kitchen or cable television in the living room and aren't that broken up about it, and sometimes engage in ridiculous and random competitions with each other. One plays in a local band (but not in the apartment), one builds boats (but not in the apartment), one writes (often in the apartment), one rides his bike (also, not in the apartment), and so on... So the place is yours (well, ours collectively) if you want it...assuming you meet our criteria, answer the troll's riddle, can navigate the crocodile-infested moat, and successfully traverse the obstacle course*.
