Seeking a roommate to share a two-bedroom apartment on Munjoy Hill starting July 15 or August 1st with a lively, female professional in her mid-twenties. The apartment is fabulous third floor apartment with spacious living and dining rooms. The kitchen is the biggest selling point, with a walk-in pantry. Every single room has windows and hardwood floors, with the exception of one carpeted bedroom. The apartment attracts a lot of natural light especially in the spring and summer. It's no smoking and pet-friendly. I'm looking for a roommate who is clean, respectful, vibrant, and responsible. About me: My interests are pretty broad: I love netflix-ing movies I'm too embarrassed to rent in-person at Videoport. I catch up on Rolling Stone magazines two months after they hit newsstands. I appreciate healthy, home cooked meals. I like crafting, writing, political discussions, jokes I don't understand, yard-sales, and discovering things to do in the community. While I can be independent at times, it would be nice to have a roommate who likes to share conversation, interests, movies, an occasional glass of wine or meal. I have a stable job at a non-profit in Maine so I do work long hours, sometimes late evenings and weekends. I wouldn't mind someone who occasionally indulges in the wild and crazy, so long as its not brought home. The apartment is located two blocks away from the Eastern Promenade, a 10 minutes walk from Munjoy Village (Congress St. area shops), and a 20 minute walk to downtown Portland. My favorite part of this street are the neighbors and friends who may be future neighbors (two of my friends recently moved on this block after I did).
