USM area, large unit-two floors and 1 and 3/4 baths. Kitchen, dining room and living room all furnished. This is a two unit owner occupied duplex (up and down not side by side). We, the owners are both professionals in education, live on the first floor. The second and third floors of our duplex make up a very, very large unit. We rent by the room (4 bedrooms all with closets and HW floors) and currently will have openings for two quiet, non-smoking, non-partying people to live with our current tenants beginning August 1, 2009. If you are interested we will hold the room with a deposit. Three of our current tenants are leaving because school is over and jobs have changed. We take care of all utilities which include-electric, cable & internet, a cleaning person for all the common areas, heat and water. We do not provide a phone, everyone who lives here has a cell phone. We also have a washer and dryer for tenant use (not coin-op) and a small backyard that you can enjoy with us. We have on-street parking but it is easily obtainable and in the three years we have lived here no one has had any problems. Our home is located a stone's throw from USM and is near bus lines. No pets please. Wireless internet that is password protected. We are great property owners. Our tenants have been with us from 3 years to just under six months. Our home is our investment, we like to keep things tidy and up-to-date (matter of fact we have all new windows & electric--plenty of outlets). This is a non-smoking house/property. We compost, recycle and do not party. It is a great space for a serious student or professional. We are all friendly and value privacy as well. We do require an application and a security deposit. Typically our agreement is month-to-month. We plan on showing the space as soon as possible. If you are looking for a place that is safe, updated, clean and occupied by the owner this place is it!
