30-something single, professional female seeks male or female housemate for august 1st move-in. ~must like dogs (if you love them, even better). i have two, a 7 yr old rott/collie mix, and a 5 yr old chihuahua. i also dog sit other people's animals sometimes. ~looking for someone quiet, responsible, respectful, and easy going ~month to month agreement, short or long term renter ok ~$300, refundable security deposit upon move-in ~would prefer no pets since i already have two, but i may consider it for the right renter and furry friend what to expect: you will be renting a room from me, the homeowner. the home is a 2100 sq. ft split entry (1 1/2 story) home in an older, quiet, midtown neighborhood. there are 3 bdrms. and 2 bathrooms and the room for rent is downstairs. you will have a shared downstairs bathroom and living room with one other renter (currently a 25 year old professional male). there is also a shared laundry room downstairs. my room, bathroom, and living room are upstairs and the large, shared kitchen/dining room are also upstairs. the kitchen is fully equipped with new stainless steel appliances and stocked with all dishes, pots/pans, utensils, etc, that you are free to use. $500 rent includes all utilities, however, there is no home phone or cable tv. there is wi-fi. if you really want tv, i would consider sharing that cost with you. i am currently out of town, but will return on july 8th. if you are interested, please feel free to respond to this ad. sidenote: if you are handy in the way of carpentry, electrical, etc, and are interested in trading work for rent at a rate of $20/hr. that could be availalbe to you sometimes.
