SCBT Research Assistant duties include, but are not limited to, the following: * Design, synthesis, and purification of oligopeptides. * Synthesis and production of siRNA. * Development, purification, and processing of polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies. * Perform mammalian cell culture for the purpose of developing and producing monoclonal antibodies. * Characterize polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies using various immunoassays (Western Blot, ELISA, immunoprecipitation, and cell/tissue immunostaining) Research Assistants are permanent, full-time job positions with 40 hour work weeks, a competitive salary, and a comprehensive benefits package.
