There is a full bathroom with a jetted tub right next to the bedroom. There is one other bedroom upstairs. On the main floor is a nice kitchen with all new appliances and granite countertops, a bedroom, dining room, living room with woodstove and a large deck with barbeque overlooking the neighborhood. There is laundry room and two more rooms in the ground level basement. Large fully fenced front and back yard. About the neighborhood: Greenwood is the new Ballard. You are walking distance to Greenwood Market, Safeway, Fred Meyer and lots of excellent restaurants and coffee shops. Easy access to I-5 and Aurora/99. Near the 15, 5, 28, and 48 bus lines (all routes are local AND express). Also walking distance to beautiful and surprisingly uncrowded Carkeek Park - beach, hiking trails, and picnic areas (a little orchard too). About us: We are a motley crew of one Lithuanian (boy, 32, who owns the place as well as one terrific, radiant, humble dog, Jack), one Hawaiian (another boy, 33, who has a very cool, moveable, yes moveable hammock—think front AND back yard), one sort of Canadian (girl, 24, who seems to like said Lithuanian very much, as the two are a couple) and one generally West Coaster (girl, 26, who makes a mean quinoa with miso sauce). We all like to laugh and experience joy, which often involves the following, with or without each other, spontaneously or planned: 1. wine. 2. food 3. books 4. movies 5. thinking 6. creating 7. talking 8. dancing/gardening/walking/working out 9. being sad when the neighbor across the street cuts down the gorgeous tree you used to stare at whilst eating breakfast. We are looking for a housemate (or a couple, as the room is quite large) who is responsible, considerate and easygoing, and who likes making and coming home to happiness.
