Wanted to pay *experienced* person with professional equipment $1000 cash to sand and seal about 800 sq. ft. of cherry hardwood floors right off Vista in Boise. The floors are about forty years old and have had carpet over them with the exception of the past seven years. They look great with orange glo applied (as seen in this photo, yet have carpet knife score marks and small holes where the carpet pad staples were removed). Basically, they need sanded and finished to help protect them from our inside dogs foot traffic and other heavily used areas.
