Hello my friend! I hope this email finds you well! I have a very sincere request but I think it equally important to reveal to you exactly the nature of my request. I am man in my mid-50’s and ever since I was diagnosed with non-hodgekins lymphoma I’ve looked at life differently. I’ve decided to begin doing some things I’ve always wanted to do but was afraid. The first is going to college. I’m in my 2nd semester and while my dad says I’m going to be looking for a job when I’m 60 I said, “No Dad. I’m going to be looking for a job when I’m 60 with a degree!. Another thing I’ve become since being diagnosed was a much gentler person with everyone around me. We just don’t know what might be happening in the person’s life who just cut you off on the highway. The lady who just intentionally took your parking spot may have just lost someone she loved. Maybe it was just her best friend in the whole world!...her dog or cat. Either way, I’ve learned we need to just show our grace to each other. Period. Focus on the stuff that REALLY IS important and let the rest of the “stuff” evaporate into thin air. Now comes even BETTER news! I’m 3 years in remission now! Praise the Lord!! I’m single and the lady who is the love of my life, my very best friend and my sister in Christ has been part of the music ministry at several other churches in her life and now she’s moved here to be with me and lead the music ministry at OUR church! I love to hear her sing and play the violin and especially the guitar. It’s been one of my desires to learn to play. And now I find that she’s agreed to teach me! Once I become good enough we can play for our Father together! OK, OK!!! I’m getting to the point. I’m hoping that there might be someone who has an acoustic/electric guitar that is and has been just collecting dust in a forgotten closet or under the bed that they’d be willing to donate. I would be willing to pay shipping to my home in the state of Missouri. BUT, the really hard part about all of this is I’m left handed. Yep, I’m a southpaw. And so I KNOW this is a long shot but I’m learning in life to not be afraid anymore. The Father is in control is if this is His will then it He’ll work out all the details. I want to thank every single person who just read this regardless if you’re in a circumstance in your life to help or not. I just wish that you be Blessed and that you go and BE a Blessing to others in some way each day! I’m praying for you and each of your loved ones who don’t know Christ.
