The job responsibilities include: - Writing, copyediting and proofreading a variety of assigned materials for style, flow, clarity, tone, readability, and accuracy - Collaborating with authors and editors on manuscript and layout - Incorporating comments from author and reviewers into layout - Working with editorial and production teams to meet project goals - Meeting with project managers and production team on a regular basis to discuss progress and identify problems. - Developing art and photo specs, helping to coordinate the production and/or research of artwork on assigned projects Location: Bakersfield Compensation: $33,898 - $80,363 This is a part-time job.
