A month looking and still no perfect match. If you're even sort of curious, drop us a line. We're nice! We remain 2 professional women with a room available in our 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house. Located in the quiet West Slope/Raleigh Hills neighborhood of Portland, we are an easy commute to downtown, Portland State, Beaverton/Hillsboro area and close to shopping, parks, a library and bus lines. We are liberal minded, hard working, somewhat silly, educated women who are tv friendly, gay friendly and omnivorous. One of us is a night owl, the other wants to be but works too damn early. We try to keep the place in some sort of order but it generally looks like a library exploded in here so if you need orderly and spotless, it probably won't work. You are kind, responsible, clean (but not obsessively so), SANE, a non-smoker (both the legal and illegal kind), emotionally and financially stable and an all around cool person. Bonus points if you're handy and don't party too much. The 11'x13' room is available immediately and has hardwood floors, wifi, cable hookup, cool corner windows and has a great view of our sweet backyard. Previous roomie had a queen size bed, huge desk and multiple bookshelves with room to spare (desk in picture not inluded). The room is currently pink but if that doesn't suit you, it can be repainted any color. House is fully furnished (the room isn't) and storage space is limited so our ideal roomie won't have alot of furniture. There are a few places to stash the odd box, suitcase, chair, etc though. Unfortunately due to allergies, we can't have any cats or dogs. Fish, however, are more than welcome, caged pets negotiable. Monthly rent is currently $500 plus 1/3 utilities (power, gas, sewage, garbage, water, cable/internet, phone. roughly $100-$130 a month).
