As a Website Developer for Anthro Corporation, you will work on-site to enhance and support the technologies of our current e-commerce site and play an integral role in the continuing evolution of Anthro's e-presence. This is not a freelance opportunity. The candidate must have expert knowledge of the .Net Framework (v 2.0 and higher) and proven experience developing web based applications utilizing object oriented principles. Experience with ASP.Net Master Pages, Repeaters and Datagrids and supporting cross browser compatibility and W3C compliance are also required. In addition, experience with the administration of SQL Server 2005 and writing SQL are required. Responsibilities . Perform day to day maintenance of websites • Continuously verifies the integrity of all site content to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of information • Monitor the server and web site technical performance. Work to resolve issues in a timely manner to avoid potential impact to the business • Maintain and improve the integrity of the web design and structure • Update and maintain the look and feel of the web sites to correspond with the goals of the Creative team • Create new site functionality and features including additional micro-sites, integration with other programs etc Requirements • C#, ASP.Net, JavaScript, xHTML, Visual Studio.Net, SQL, AJAX, Database Modeling, Writing & exposing Web Services • While not required, experience in the following areas would be a plus: SharePoint, TFS, Telerik controls, Flash, Actionscript, Analytics (Urchin and Google ), SAP and SAP.Net Connector You will possess a BS in Computer Science ( or a similar technical field) or have equivalent experience in the information systems industry. A minimum of 5 years experience with e-commerce web development is required. Successful candidates must be strong verbal and written communicatiors and will be capable of working with a certain amount of autonomy.
