Calling services are booking agents who submit extras or background actors to Casting Agents, on behalf of their clients, when the client has indicated they are available for a Background Acting job. You tell Extras Management (your calling service) when your available, the calling service (Extras Management) provides you the info and confirms your booked. These services cost around $70/month but they do not charge if they didn't book you that month so you never lose money. This is easy money, all you have to do is tell them when you can't work, and show up when your booked, they do all the rest. I get booked about once a week. The least you make when booked is 64 dollars for a short day but the days are usually long and overtime pay give me over 100 dollar days most of the time.
